Report 1 – September 2017

In this Report the builder of the layout has provided the planned track layout as at September 2017 together with a Planning document.  The owner has indicated that the “procurement is 90% complete” i.e. the materials needed to commence construction.

A rationale for the Track Plan is contained within the Planning document – see More Information.

The layout has been planned using Anyrail using a licensed copy. It is 5800mm x 2600mm with a higher elevation 4800 x 500 containing storage siding and 2nd turntable (Fleischmann). Main tracks are 2 x 2 ( 4 ) track through station and an MPD with 4 tracks, turntable, ash & coaling plants. Secondary area has a goods yard.
